Reply:s a classic case of Phishing.and one to be avoided.Delete any mail that ever asks for your password etc, and forward it to the company that it 'supposedly' came from, so they can track this crap. Never give away your passwords by e-mail. But all in all none of this will stop the person as they will move to a different addy and keep doing it. block person who sent it and report to yahoo. You can forward the email also wondered about this and was glad to have checked with Answers before I did anything THANKS Report Abuse You can report this with the abuse form below.

"Phishing" for your private information These deceptive emails are used to commit identity theft, charge your credit card, and lock you out of your online account by changing your password DO NOT respond. Yahoo! would never request personal information in an unsolicited email.

I received an email today saying that Yahoo will delete my email account if I don't respond with my password!? I received the email concerning the account I use every day! It says if I don't respond to the email giving them my email address, password, country I reside in, etc, my email account will be deleted. I received an email stating that Yahoo is deleting email accounts because there are too many unused accounts.
